*Cravings* Chicken Nachos


Hi my lovely ladies, hope everyone is well :) I wanted to share a good news with you guys,I'm selected for the Masterchef Pakistan auditions and I'll be leaving for Karachi anytime soon Inshaa Allah. That's why I am so busy these days and couldn't be able to post anything for couple of days. So, for a change here comes a recipe of finger licking nachos which I prepared last night on my bro's birthday :)
CHICKEN NACHOS

 Ingredients 
 For tortilla chips:
All purpose flour: 2 cups
Salt: to taste
Red chilli flakes: 1/4 teaspoon
Garlic Paste: 1/2 teaspoon
Carom seeds: 1/4 teaspoon
Water to knead

For fried chicken: 
Chicken Cubes: Half chicken breast
Salt: to taste
White pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Chilli garlic sauce: 11/2 tablespoon
Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce: 1/2 Tablespoon

For cheese sauce:
 Butter: 2 tablespoon
All purpose flour: 2 tablespoon
Salt: to taste
Cheddar cheese slices: 6

For salsa dip: 
Onion: 1 medium
Tomatoes: 2 medium
Salt: to taste
Chilli Garlic Sauce: 1 tablespoon
Bell pepper: half 
Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
Oregano: 1/2 teaspoon

Recipe:
- Tortilla dough : Knead the flour with all the ingredients and keep aside for half an hour , later make thin rounds with the rolling pin, cut in strips and deep fry them till crispy.

-Take a pan and fry the marinated chicken in a tablespoon of butter till tender.

-For salsa simply saute the onion in oil when it becomes translucent add two tomatoes and fry till it becomes a paste add salt , lemon juice and a tablespoon of chilli garlic sauce. Stir well and cook for 3 minutes.

-Now prepare the cheese sauce by melting butter in a sauce pan on medium low heat. Whisk in the flour. Add in milk after the flour is settled. Make it into an even consistency sauce. Now add cheese slices and salt. Whisk it and let the cheese melt.Once that is done, allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for 05-08 minutes. The sauce is ready. 

Assembling:

Spread tortilla chips on the platter and drizzle cheese sauce evenly over the chips. Leave some in the pan. Put a layer of tomato mixture and then again pour in all the left over cheese sauce.Top it with chicken, some mayo, chilli garlic sauce  and garnish with sliced bell pepper in the end.
