I am a sucker for highlighters and I love adding a hint of shimmer to my face. So I thought I should give E.L.F Shimmering Facial Whips a go since I have read so much good things about them.
Naturally illuminates for a dewy finish
Soothes and conditions skin
No sticky, greasy feel
The whip comes in a small squeeze tube, with a nozzle and screw up lid. The tube is really tiny. The whip inside is of light pink color with tiny shimmer particles, very little amount is required.
I got it in the shade Pink Lemonade. Its highly shimmery frozen pink shade. It is insanely pigmented,You would need about a half-pea sized amount to use to highlight your whole face (cheeks, forehead, and chin). It works best with fingers but keep in mind that you have to blend it really quickly because it dries quite fast otherwise it will be really noticeable that you didn’t put much effort into blending the product into your face.If it’s blended out well enough it will look subtle and make your skin look dewy. After it’s fully dried it does not feel tacky. Overall I think its a nice little product that works similar to highbeam/moonbeam except that its in a little squeeze tube.As you’re putting it on, you really do get a citrusy smell. But after you’re done applying, the fragrance is gone, so it doesn’t cause irritation.
My Recommendation: I’m impressed! I really love this little multi-tasking product. Depending on where I apply this, Shimmering Facial Whip by e.l.f. last me the entire day. I love it under the brow bone. I like it as a cheek highlight, too, as that stays on fairly well. I just squeeze a tiny dot on my fingertip, and that is enough to highlight my face. I like it and I definitely want to try out more colors.
*Tip* If you have dry skin you can also mix a pea size amount in your moisturizer.
Price & Availability: I purchased it from Rouge in 375 Pkr.
