Wet n Wild To Reflect Shimmer Palette 'Boozy Brunch' - Review & Photos

While everybody else on the planet is going gaga over Becca’s Champagne Pop (which is a $38 highlight) I'm over here crazy in love with Wet n Wild's highlight in Boozy Brunch. It's an extremely gorgeous golden highlight which retails for only $6.00. Today I'm going to review it for you guys.
Product Description: This perfectly-coordinated baked trio delivers high-pigment in a wet-or-dry formula for a glowing, extra-reflective finish. Big girls don't shy away from a little sparkle!

Packaging:  The highlight comes in a basic black plastic casing and it has transparent top lid with wet n wild written in center. I feel the packaging is little bulky as compared to other drugstore highlighters in market, but as long as the product is good I don't mind it.You can see an artistic swirl of pink, brown shades upon opening the lid. Which looks wonderful!
My Views: Wet n Wild’s To Reflect Shimmer Palette in Boozy Brunch is a latest version of the famous highlight ‘Hollywood Bouleveard’ that was under the Fergie line which is discontinued now and is replaced with Boozy Brunch! Both products are EXACTLY the same in terms of color, formula and packaging. Boozy Brunch is a beautiful marbled powder that contains a swirl of soft gold, pink, and bronze to illuminate your face. This highlighter is a universally flattering shade, I have seen this on many skin tones and it looked very beautiful on each and everyone.
Formula of this product is AMAZING!! The texture is very finely milled, smooth and silky, that it applies beautifully on the skin. Although it's a shimmery highlighter it will not make your face shimmery or glittery whatsoever, I really like how it gives a healthy golden glow to my skin. The pigmentation is fantastic for a highlighter, it’s easy to apply and easy to blend. Just a light swirl with my blush brush is all I need for my upper cheekbones, and I also like to apply this to my forehead and temples for an extra bit of glow.

Since the texture is very smooth and lightweight it blends nicely onto the skin and doesn't come out patchy or anything like that. You can use it either as a gold highlight or you can swirl the brush in the product all together and it will give you a beautiful rose gold highlight, it’s all up to you how you want to use it.
Staying power is quite impressive for such a cheap drugstore highlighter. It stays on my combination skin for good 3 to 4 hours before I notice some slight fading. I use my Gorgeous Cosmetics blush brush #024 to apply this highlight. It can be worn at day as well as at night. Light application can give you the healthy luminous glow for daytime and a little bit more would give you the intense golden goddess glow which is just perfect for any night look.
Many people claim it to be a dupe of some high end highlighters.I can’t comment on this since I haven’t tried any high end one except Mary-lou manizer but I am inserting a google image which contains swatches of all. So you better decide that yourself :)
Last but not the least, these palettes are huge and will last you a life time. Like literally, there is a lot of product and also it’s so much pigmented that you need a very little amount to highlight your entire face and for the amount of product that you get for just $6.00, you really cannot beat the value of this highlighter!

My Recommendation: I really enjoy this highlight and I must say that all the hype about it was real! It definitely compares to higher end ones and honestly why spend $40+ on a highlight when the drugstore alternatives are just as good for less? If you can get your hands on it, get it.I highly recommend it!

Price & Availability: I got mine from Amor in PKR 1250. You can order it from any online makeup selling pages or check it at your nearest Walmart or CVS if you live abroad.

  6. Why you do this to me Wajiha? :( The only reason I steering clear of this is that I have this shade and I am looking for a more rosy highlighter these days (apart from the dozen in my collection) -Sadaf
