Duvi Stockholm's Green Tea Face Wash & Bamboo Scrub - Review and Photos

Hey everyone! I hope you’ve had a good start to the week!  It’s so nice that the evenings are starting to get lighter now. I seriously cannot wait for the summer! Anyways, today I want to share my views about the two products that are recently sent to me by Duvi Stockholm, which is a natural and organic skincare brand of Sweden.I got an opportunity to try their tea tree face mask and bamboo scrub. Please keep reading to see my review on these two products.

Packaging: Packaging of Duvi Stockholm Skincare Range is very simple and hygienic.Both products come in white squeeze tube with a tight flip-cap which is easy to carry and use.The standard size of these tubes is 150ml and you just need a small amount for your entire face so a little goes a long way.

 Duvi Green Tea Fash Wash (Product Description): A gentle foaming wash that effectively sweeps away impurities to reveal a fresh and luminous complexion. Enriched with a powerful blend of natural ingredients including green tea extract, aloe vera extract and oil vegetable extract. These extracts are known for moisturising and soothing your skin, as well as reducing the severity of breakouts.

My Views :  The Face wash has a gel like consistency. It’s light pale green in color and smells very mild. I love it's fragrance. It lathers very well and is very good in removing makeup. It leaves the skin clean and fresh with out drying the skin. I have added this face wash in the skin care regime and it's my seventh day using it. It gently cleanses the face getting rid off all the dirt & leaves me refreshed. It’s a great one for the everyday use, the thing to keep in mind is that It’s not extremely soapy. The ingredients of this facewash are very promising. Green tea extract is naturally rich in antioxidants, which has a cell-protecting function as well. It also contains the Methylxanthines that stimulates skin microcirculation and therefore positively influence the tone and health of the skin. While Aloe vera truly is a miracle plant for skin. It brightens up your complexion, removes tan, treats pigmentation and also helps help dry and aged skin achieve its optimal level of moisture, leaving it soft and supple. So a combination of these two ingredients will definitely give you best results! 

Duvi Bamboo Scrub (Product Description) : This foaming scrub has been specifically developed for daily use. Bamboo scrub carefully  removes dead cells, impurities and releases skin pores while preventing the formation of small pimples.  Enriched with bamboo powder to absorb the excess sebum and to keep your skin purified.

 My Views : Duvi Bamboo Scrub is a cream scrub with very tiny exfoliating particles. I think they must be the bamboo powders. It's a very mild and gentle scrub which leaves you with clean smooth skin that is soft and bouncy to the touch. I normally squeeze a good sized blob into my palm and then rub my hands together. I then proceed to apply to my dampened face, gently massaging the scrub all over my face for few minutes. Then, I rinse my face thoroughly with warm water and pat dry.I immediately notice the difference to my skin in one application. My skin feels soft and nourished, it's really like I've applied some rich moisturising cream to my face, it feels that hydrated. It’s gentle and does not irritate my skin at all! Bamboo Powder is a great skincare ingredient which is famous for its natural richness in silica, an essential element for its remineralizing, anti-acne, anti-wrinkles and anti-cellulite activity. It’s gentle on skin but has strong exfoliating powers which helps clearing dead cells and provides luminous and healthy skin.…The label says that it's for daily use but I prefer using it twice a week.The only thing that puts me off is the overwhelming, talcum powder like smell of this scrub, I prefer mild scented / fragrance free skincare products.

My Recommendation: I am really impressed with Duvi Stockholm Organic Skincare Range. Their products are a bit expensive but they really deliver good results and I think one should always invest in quality skincare products instead of buying average ones. I will surely repurchase these products and also would love to try other products from this brand!
