My Daily Skincare Essentials!

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! This post is going to be about my skincare essentials, so basically I'm going to share all the products that I use to keep my skin clean and clear. It's a combination of both high end and drugstore products that I've been using since almost a year and they really work for my skin. In case you’re wondering, I have dry to combination skin which can be very sensitive, so I like to use gentle products to keep it under control. I've been very excited to share my skincare routine with you and I really hope you all enjoy it! p.s this is not a sponsored post, I've purchased all these products with my own money.

Johnson's Baby Skincare Wipes:
I am a lazy makeup lover. So makeup removing wipes are my best friends. There are days when I don’t feel like doing proper cleansing or washing my face, so I just wipe off my makeup with these baby wipes. I am using Johnson’s Baby Skincare Wipes since years and I must say I love them. They’re gentle, super mild and pretty effective for all types of skin. They’re alcohol and soap free, thus the chances of rash and irritation is very minimum. They’re very reasonably priced and are available every where. A pack of 64 wipes retails for  PKR 165.

  Biodermaa Sensibio H20 Micellar Water:
Biodermaa Sensibio H20 Micellar Water is my HOLY GRAIL water based makeup remover. It’s the best of the best! It removes makeup really well and leaves no traces of oil or residue. It has no strange fragrance and alcohol so you will not experience any form of discomfort. As it is not a cleansing milk or oil, it requires no massages onto the skin and thus reduces tugging. This in return reduce the chance of fine lines and most importantly, less tugging also means less irritation, especially for sensitive skin. All you have to do is simply soak cotton pads or makeup removing wipes with Bioderma Sensibio H2O and gently place product onto the skin. Leave on the skin for about 15 seconds and gently swipe the makeup away.It can remove waterproof mascara and liner very efficiently. No rinsing required so you can proceed with the rest of your skin care. Price is PKR 1100 for a 250 ml bottle. Try it and thank me later!

 Pure Revitalising Facial Cleanser Skincare:
Pure revitalsing cleanser is a very mild and gentle facial cleanser. Sometimes when I am in a mood of really deep cleansing my face, then I use it after removing my makeup. I simply take little amount on my palm, apply it all over my face and neck and massage in circular motions for a minute. Later I remove it with my baby wipes. This cleanser really refreshes my skin. I love its mild floral fragrance.

 St.Ives Apricot Facial Scrub:
I don't remember how many times I repurchased this scrub.St.ives Apricot Scrub has done wonders to my skin.Making it softer, clearer and and my pores looked smaller as well. I loved the deep cleanse feel it gave my skin on a daily basis. It contains salicylic acid which is great for re-surfacing skin.85% of the ingredients in this product are  of natural origin! I use it twice a week but it's mild enough to be used everyday. You can really feel the granules on your skin so use a light hand when massaging it into your face. It does great at removing those stubborn blackheads from your skin and shrinking large pores.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get into their skin routine and do everything they can to keep their skin clean, clear and super smooth. This scrub is amazing for its price!

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque :

Masks should be a part of your general skin care routine, along with exfoliating, daily cleansing etc.Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque is currently my favorite clay masque. Essentially, this product is a mud-like mask with a minty scent. When applied, it has a wet and creamy texture. As it dries and hardens, it draws out impurities and tightens pores. You only need to cover your face with a thin layer and then wait for it to dry. I usually sit with it on for about 15 - 20 minutes and then wash it off with either my hands or a warm face towel. I love that you can always see results immediately after washing it off. Tighter pores. No more shininess. And overall, awesome skin..This masque is usually priced around 900 - 1100 PKR which is very reasonable considering what it does for your skin. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a treat for their skin!

Clarisonic:
I'm a happy Clarisonic user. Its undoubtedly the best investment I ever made in my skin care. I use it every single day. Its like a gentle mini-facial at home. I am using my Clarisonic Mia brush with Philosophy Purity Cleanser since more than a year and I must say that the condition of my skin has become much better than before. It helps the cleansers and treatment products penetrate better in my skin. My skin is deep-cleaned every night, and my large pores are minimized. My face has never felt so clean and refreshed. After using this product, my face took on a tight and glowing look and I've got smoother skin, a more radiant and even complexion as well as a reduction in pores size. Clarisonic makes cleansing such a pleasant experience!I highly recommend using it wih your favorite products and see the difference yourself! Read my first impressions here.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple One Step Facial Cleanser :
Philosophy Purity One Step Facial Cleanser is an award winning product. It's milky lemon-yellow in color and has a lotion-type consistency, it is runny enough to allow it to spread very easily over skin. It is totally non-greasy. This is perhaps the most comfortable cleanser I have ever used. It doesn’t irritate my skin in the slightest. Its gentle enough for the eye area. With this cleanser, my skin feels soft, supple, and smooth. It’s helped to reduce my redness, flakiness, and sensitivity. I use it by wetting my face first, then take a pea sized amount on my Clarisonic Mia Brush and gently massage it into my skin for about 30 seconds. You can see the cleanser emulsifying your makeup, and you know it’s giving a thorough clean. Then I thoroughly rinse my face, and that’s it!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream:
My final steps are moisturising. Having dry patches on skin means it really needs all the moisture it can get! For night-time, I usually like to use a cream that is thicker and super moisturising. I randomly bought this moisturiser last year from an online makeup store without reading any reviews or anything. I would have to say this is one of my best random purchases I’ve made in a long time. This moisturiser is slightly thicker and rich but absorbs really quick and doesn't feel heavy. I wake up with really smooth glowy skin. This moisturiser retails for $30 for a 6.oz jar. Pricey but worth every penny! Detailed review here.

Triology Rosehip Oil:
Last step of my skincare routine is using any essential oil on top of my moisturiser. This Rosehip oil is said to be one of the best facial oil so I thought I should give it a try.  It's golden in colour and is odourless.I use around 3-4 drops of this morning and night and after applying my moisturiser and this is sufficient to cover my face. I massage it in my skin using circular motions. It absorbs very quickly and never feels greasy or heavy I then apply my moisturiser as normal. It plumps up my skin and makes it feel smooth and healthy. It seems to help repair the skin and speeds up the whole process.. After using the oil at for around two months, I found that my skin looked nice and clear. This Rosehip Oil suits me quite well, it makes my dry forehead and cheeks hydrated and also helps keep blemishes at bay.  It has also reduced my fine lines of under eye area. My skin felt smoother and clear! Check the detailed review here.

Started with a kiss lipbalm:
This is a regular strawberry flavored lip balm that I use to moisturise my lips every night.

Always make sure you properly cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise your skin before going to bed and NEVER sleep with your makeup on. Use sun protection before going out. Find products that work best for your skin type. Remember you are what you eat. A healthy diet can help you look and feel your best. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins, drink lots of water and take proper sleep of atleast 8 hours. These simple skincare tips will keep your skin looking more youthful, glowing and radiant.

So that's all for today loves! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my post! Do you have a consistent routine that you stick to for your day to day skincare or do you like to change it up and try out new products? Also do let me know if you want to see the detailed review of any of the above mentioned products.

Keep glowing!
xoxo!

    1. No Zani, you are not suppose to rinse it. Simply apply toner with a cotton ball, gently wipe it across your face and allow it to dry naturally.Later moisturise your face with your favorite moisturiser. Hope that helps! x
