Packaging: Estee Lauder all day blush in plum comes in a square pack of tightly packed-in blush. The packaging is of fine plastic with a transparent lid and It doesn’t contain any brush or applicator.
My Views:
The blush comes in soft plum shade which looks very natural
on the skin. The consistency is a bit chalky but glides on smoothly with blush
brush. It is a subtle shade which gives a rosy glow to your cheeks. I must say,
The first impression of this blush was not too good. I found it too chalky and
too less pigmented and I had to swipe and swipe the blush to take a picture, but my experience with this blush
with a proper brush and applied on a moisturised and powder compact was not so
bad. I did see that I had a hard time picking up the color on the brush, but
once that was done, the color on my cheeks did show up into such a pretty light
and natural looking blush that I was amazed at the pretty plum and sheer
natural color it gave me. I think this is a
perfect winter blush as it's not bright at all, just a soft, warm, happy
glow!
The texture of the blush is hard and not so pigmented but
color is just so pretty and natural. It doesn’t have much shimmer to it , just a
little bit of sheen but it hardly shows up on me. Upon application, you’ll get
a nice plumy pink adorable cheeks. The blush is buildable I must say, but still
would largely remain a day blush, soft and natural, and it can never do justice
to a night look and give no depth at all. Staying power since it is a natural
sheer blush is not so impressive either. I wore it over powder at 9 AM for
office and it lasted me just till 12 AM or so on my normal to dry skin.
It is just a simple blush, not so pigmented. It is sheer
and natural for a day look. Since I love its dusky pink to plum color, I do see
myself reaching out for this one often for the soft look it provides. Apart
from that, I was expecting a lot from an Estee Lauder blush.
My
Recommendation: I wouldn’t actually buy this again even if
it suited my skin tone perfectly because I cannot put in so much efforts
every-time to apply it; although I will not mind to finish this up. For the
people who will want to try it the range has changed to Estée Lauder tender
blush. I would recommend to test and try the shade on your cheeks before picking it up.
Price & Availability: Estee
Lauder Natural Cheek Color retails for $32 and you can
