Maybelline Fit Me Foundation - Review & Photos

After wearing heavy, long lasting foundations for quite a while, I was searching for something that would look light and dewy on my skin and still cover my imperfections p.s I was not willing to spend a fortune on something that might not work for me so I thought to give Maybelline Fit Me Foundation a try. It's a hit or a miss, keep reading to know..

Packaging: Maybelline Fit Me comes in a sleek glass bottle which contains 30 ml of the product. The packaging is beautifulThe bottle is sturdy and heavy, making it look like an expensive foundation. It comes up with a pump dispenser so no wastage of  product at all, which is great. It's perfect for travelling!
My views: The first thing I noticed is the amazing texture of this foundation. It is light and very creamy. Its runny yet it blends into your skin effortlessly and evenly and has a very natural, satiny-dewy finish.  The texture of this foundation is liquid-y, still provides medium to full coverage and applies great with a stippling brush..It has a very subtle and fresh fragrance. My shade is #125 Nude beige. The bottle suggests using your fingers to blend but I love to apply it with my Sigma F80 as I find it gives just that little bit more coverage. Many bloggers have spoken about this being very light coverage but in this respect it hasn't disappointed me at all.It perfectly covers all my blemishes and redness. The finish of this foundation is lovely; it leaves your skin looking naturally dewy and in really great condition.
When worn, the foundation was fairly comfortable. It has a glowy finish that I would say is totally natural. I love the finish of this foundation. After application, there will certainly be a glow which is why this foundation is mainly suggested for people with dry skin. Oily skin users, please beware, because the foundation will look way too glowy on you and you can just imagine how bad it might get later on in the day. For me, I  really like this finish, because I have dry skin and I am a fan of dewy foundations.

I would say it has a good medium coverage. It doesn't feel heavy or appear "mask-like". The major downside for me is the staying power.I wore it at 9 am and around 3 pm, I noticed that the foundation had faded almost completely off my nose and chin area. But, It didn't look too bad, as it didn't fade blotchy. It just seemed to evaporate off my face. I'd say at the 4-5 hour mark, I'll have to touch up my nose or chin.

This would honestly be HG material for me if it just stayed on my face for few more hours. Even with a primer this certainly doesn't last all day.I feel like it needs powdering but I feel that it is a shame to mattify it as I love the finish.

Here's me wearing Fit Me in #125 * Please excuse my swollen eyes. I'm down with allergy these days :( *
My Recommendation: I love this foundation! I'm so happy that Maybelline has come out with such an affordable line. The array of colours in the Fit Me range is fantastic, particularly for a drugstore foundation. Maybelline Fit Me is certainly a hydrating foundation and its lovely if you are a fan of dewy foundations like me. It's great for Dry / Normal skins but unfortunately that's not for the people with oily skins.

Price & Availability: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation is easily available at all local drugstores. Price is 1050 PKR.

  25. Wonderful. Seems like a great product. Is it good for combination skin?

    1. I guess not :( It's very dewy.Still you can give it a try. What I suggest you is apply it on your face in a store and see yourself in a mirror after a while. You'll get an idea if it works for you or not. The other way is dust a little powder on top of it but you won't get that dewy / glowy finish after that. It suits dry skin the best in my opinion.
