How to Strobe - Tips, Tricks & Best Products!!

Hello loves, In today's post I will talk about the new makeup trend that’s quickly becoming the "new contouring". Yes you guessed it right! I am talking about 'Strobing'. Now for those of you who haven't heard or read about it yet, strobing is basically radiant glowing skin. The way to achieve this new strobing trend is simple and easy, just keep below mentioned things in your mind.
The technique adds light to the highest points of your face with an illuminator/highlighter. The great part of strobing is that it looks completely natural in all variations of light and from every different angle because light already bounces off your skin where you place the highlighter.

Steps to achieve the Strobing Look

Step 1: Find the right highlighting shade for your skin tone
Fair Skin - Champagne Tones
Light-Medium Skin - Pink Champagne Tones
Olive Skin - Golden Tones
Dark Skin - Terra Cotta Tones
Some of the best drugstore and high end highlighters!
Step 2: Find the right formula for your skin type
Dry Skin - Liquid or Cream Highlighter
Normal Skin - Liquid, Cream or Powder Highlighter
Oily Skin - Powder Highlighter

Step 3: Apply the highlighter to the high points of the face
The idea is to use the highlighter where light would naturally hit your face (cheekbones, brow bones, the center of your forehead, down the bridge of your nose, above your cupid’s bow and center of your chin.) Don’t spread the product all over your face, or else your glow will turn into a greasy mess. If you have oily skin, choose a matte formula for your other makeup (foundation, blush, powder) and skip the highlighter on areas like forehead or nose so that you can avoid looking too shiny.
Step 4: Set the highlight (optional)
This optional step I recommend for those using powder highlighters because it'll give the highlight that extra glow plus it helps the powder look less powdery. I like using Elf Makeup Mist.
I used Mary-Lou manizer in these pictures
Voila! Now your skin looks dewy and fresh, without looking like you’ve used much makeup at all!
