Joko Makeup - First Impressions and Mini Reviews!

Did you know the cosmetic brand 'Joko Makeup'? Well I din't until they contacted me to review some of their makeup.I received a little selection of products which include pressed powder, eyeshadow trio, mascara, nail color and loose powder. In today's post I will share my first impression and mini reviews of all these products, so lets get started..

About brand : Joko makeup - reflects global trends, fashionable color palettes with original textures, consistencies and the formulas closed in simple yet outstanding packaging. Joko Makeup is a cruelty free Polish brand with all plant based ingredients making it halal to use.It's great for all ages, especially for the people who want good quality makeup in affordable prizes.

Now onto the products I received,

Joko Makeup Perfect your look eyeshadows - Price 750 PKR : This Eyeshadow trio comes in a sturdy black packaging with a small mirror inside. The formula is quite soft but they do feel a little chalky. Pigmentation is pretty decent but if you want more you can apply primer underneath.The eyeshadows are blendable but they do fall out. These soft colors are perfect for a day time makeup look. wear time is 3 hours after which they start fading. 

Joko Makeup Finish your Makeup pressed powder - 650 PKR : This powder offers light to medium coverage to even out the skin. I love using this to set my foundation because it mattifies and sets foundation without caking. It applies perfectly smooth, instantly takes away shine but doesn’t make the skin dry. it does soften the look of pores and imperfections to some extent.It doesn’t cover my blemishes completely but does reduce their appearance. Overall, I love the silky texture, the ultra-fine blendable powder and the natural, soft matte finish. The formula will work for all skin types. Its great for touch ups as it doesn’t cake up and doesn’t give a powdery look to the skin.

Joko Makeup  Pump Your Lashes Mascara - 650 PKR: I think that this is a great mascara if you are looking for definition, some thickening and lengthening. However, you should not expect a volumizing dolly effect. The mascara tube is of medium length and it comes with a skinny brush that is actually pretty long and reaches all my lashes. Considering that this is a truly natural mascara, I am very impressed with the results, and I think that it is a fantastic option for well-defined, natural looking lashes.It doesn't flake on me but it has been leaving me with little smudge marks underneath my eyes after a few hours wear which I have experienced with many other drugstore mascaras as well.

Joko Makeup Matt Your Face Loose Powder - 850 PKR: The powder comes in a regular loose powder form, I remove the sticker and dab some on to the lid ,swirl my brush on it , tapped and then applied to the shiny areas of my face for a super matte effect. I would say the powder is so nice and fine that it barely shows up, you will feel like you are not wearing any powder. It blends beautifully, looks very natural and is perfect for a light makeup look and to control shine I tried it on my mom who has super oily skin and this powder mattified her face for more than 4 hours. I think 4-5 hours of shine control is excellent considering the price of the product. So, for the girls who are looking for a matte loose powder that blends beautifully and naturally, this is it!

Joko Find Your Color Nail Enamel: Last but not the least, this beautiful nail enamel in the shade 107 - Beach Sand. It's a very pretty nude pink shade. I really love the color, it’s trendy and wearable. These polishes come in 40 feminine colors with revolutionary  one move brush. The formula includes vinyl polymers which protect the nails and ensure a long lasting effect. Bristles of the brush are very smooth and of appropriate size which ensures flawless application.
