My Wardrobe Update for Winters 2016

Every season has its must-have wardrobe items and in winter, it's all about keeping yourself cozy and warm while remaining stylish. Just because it is cold outside does not mean you cannot have as much fun getting dressed as you did during the warmer months. In today's post, I'm going to talk about my winter wardrobe essentials and how to pair them up for a chic and trendy appearance without breaking the bank.

Here are my must-haves for staying incredibly warm and effortlessly stylish this winter :  

1. Wool Coats / Jackets: Winter outerwear comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes but you can’t go wrong with a tailored, warm wool coat or jacket. A basic wool coat or jacket is always one of those stylish winter wardrobe essentials that will be on high demand during the colder months. I prefer smart fit with button down designs. Choose coats or jackets in mute colors like black, grey, navy, or camel because they are versatile and you can carry them with pretty much all kinds of outfits.

2. Sweater / Blazers: Good quality sweaters / blazers should make up a significant portion of your winter wardrobe. Fine sweaters are perfect for layering underneath coats and even dresses while chunkier ones are great to wear on over your casual outfits. There are plenty of colors, designs and cuts are available in the market, choose them in colors and cuts that best suit your personal style. Team your blazer with skinny jeans, ankle boots and stylish scarves for a smart and trendy winter look.

3. Scarves: Colorful and funky scarves are my favorite thing about winters. Not only do they keep me warm but they can also be used to update a basic outfit. Chunky knitted scarves are perfect for creating a cozy look while brightly colored and patterned scarves are perfect for adding a pop of color to your outfit.I personally prefer bright and neon colored scarves as they give life to any of your dull winter outfit.

4. Skinny Jeans / Tights :  Skinny jeans and thick tights are perfect for wearing with shirts and cardigans in winter.They come in all sorts of different designs, from basic black opaques to textured ones.Neutral colored tights are great for versatility but why not keep an eye out for interesting designs, colors, and patterns to give your outfit a bit of spark as well.Skinny jeans are perfect for winter as they give you a very nice and smart look with those thick blazers. Wear them with flats and a leather jacket in the day or pointed toe heels for a night out.

5. Ankle / Knee -High Boots: Keep your feet warm with a pair of ankle boots these winters. Look for a cozy and good quality boots. You can select flats or block / pointed heels according to your style and preference. As far as the colors are concerned, choose one that will suit the majority of your wardrobe.  I have three pairs in black, brown and beige and they pretty much go with everything that I choose to wear in winters.Don’t be afraid of spending a little bit more than you’re used to on a pair of boots either, since they’re an item you’ll be spending in after a lot of time.

There are many online stores that offer women fashion clothing brands, having very good quality and reasonable prices.All you have to do is search your favorite stuff, compare the quality and prices, select the best one and get it delivered at your doorstep.
