Eco Tools Eye Enhancing Duo Set - Review & Photos

Hello, how are you all? I'm here with another very informative review for you guys. This will specially help the people who are new to eye makeup and looking for quality yet budget friendly eye makeup brushes. The brushes I'm reviewing today were my first ever makeup brushes that I purchased and started learning eye makeup with, and I'm so happy I selected these. They're high quality, super affordable and travel friendly brushes.
I'm reviewing this awesome Ecotools Eye Enhancing Duo Set today and before I start, I would like to tell you that this is not a sponsored post. I purchased this with my own money. The only reason I'm writing this review is because I LOVE this brush set and off course I want to help you all :)
Product Description: This double sided set has four brush heads condensed onto two handles, freeing up space in your makeup bag and making new eye looks a breeze! EcoTools Cosmetic Brushes are made with cruelty-free synthetic bristles, sustainable bamboo handles & recycled aluminum ferrules.

My Views: What I love about Ecotools is the fact that it's a cruelty free, pro-environment and eco-conscious brand.Their makeup tools are made from bamboo and recycled materials. Talking about this Eye Enhancing Duo Set , I think it's well-thought-of. The two brushes pretty much cover what I need in terms of eyeshadow brushes. They’re double-ended which is nice because it saves space. They are quite sturdy and the bristles are super soft, also they are in the perfect size and density.
Each brush is around 6 inches long, from the bristle on one end to the bristle on the other end. I like the size of the brushes; they aren’t too tiny so as to make it awkward for a double-sided brush, yet they are small enough to travel with easily. As far as weight, they are really lightweight, which is a good thing. The ends of each brush is labeled with what function the brush is supposed to serve. I really appreciate that! these are labeled “blend,” “smudge,” “shade,” and “define.”Now I’m going to explain the functionality and usage of each brush in detail :
Shading Brush: The shading brush is the one meant to be used to put color all over your lids. I think the brush head is a nice size for this, and it also picks up a lot of color on the first go. The uneven bristles allow you to pick up glitter and shimmers. Not scratchy so it feels very nice all over the lids! This brush has been very useful to me every since I got it and I use it almost every single day.

Define Brush: This tiny angled brush is very handy when it comes to the task of filling in eyebrows. It’s even small enough to fill in the ends of my eyebrows without leaving any excess of product behind. The bristles are quite sturdy, which for an eyebrow brush is great because it gives you more control and precision. I mainly used it for putting some color under my lower lash line and also use it to add depth to the eyes, and I found it works great for that. It’s soft and non-scratchy and can be used with powder, cream or gel products.

Smudge Brush: The smudge end is great for smudging your shadows and creating soft definition along the lash line. The brush isn't stiff at all.The short bristles allow you to get very close to the lashline which is awesome. It's a wonderful brush for smudging color on the lash line, Perfect short dense bristles picks up and deposits color very easily Since its quite dense, it picks up a good amount of eye shadow on the tip.You could even use it to apply color to the lids too. Super soft and closely packed bristles ensure flawless eyeshadow application.

Blending Brush:  This blending brush is really fluffy and of the perfect size. I use it to blend eyeshadow into the crease of my eye and also to dust a highlighter on my brow bone. I feel like it fits really well into the crease of my eye.you can blend shadow to eliminate harsh lines with the blending brush.  It’s also really soft and doesn’t scratch my skin at all. I have washed it over 20 times and dint experience any shedding .I really like this one; so far it’s my favorite blending brush.

Overall this brush set is awesome! It's an absolute steal for only $5.99! With this set only you can probably create millions of different eye makeup looks.Since these are dual-ended, I don't store them in my jar. I've washed them several times and didn't encounter any shedding or distortion to the bristles. So I'd recommend it to anyone who's just starting out with makeup.

What do you think about this set? Would you like to give it a try?
