Philosophy Purity Made Simple One Step Facial Cleanser - Photos & Review

Hey dolls, First of all I apologize for being MIA. If you are following me on Instagram than you must know that I recently got married and was so busy with all the pre and post wedding chores. So yes, my absence was valid :P Anyways, I'm pretty much back to my routine now, which is blogging, blogging and alot of blogging :D Accumulated some really yummy makeup and skincare stuff in all this period and I am all ready to review it for my awesome people. So lets get started with a review of Philosophy Purity One - Step Facial Cleanser. If you remember, I posted my Skincare essentials few months back in which I added a small review of this cleanser as well. In case you guys have missed that post please click here to see.Today I am posting a detailed review of this award winning cleanser. So lets see whether it comes up to my expectations or not...
Product Description:
- Deep cleans pores and eliminates makeup build-up
- Natural oil extracts help condition skin
- Fragrance-free formula
Packaging:The packaging is simple and straightforward just like other Philosophy products. Philosophy Purity Made Simple One - Step Facial Cleanser comes in a cylindrical-shaped plastic bottle with black flip cap. The clear bottle allows you to see how much product you have left.
My Views:  Purity Made Simple is a 3-in-1 multi tasking cleanser. It cleanses, removes makeup, tones, and hydrates all while being ultra gentle for even the most sensitive of skins. Its for all ages, all skin types. This cleanser is formulated to break down makeup, dirt, and oil particles to effectively clean the skin. Typically after washing my face, my skin is left feeling dry and tight but with this cleanser, my skin feels soft, supple, and smooth. It’s helped to reduce my flakiness and sensitivity as well.
Philosophy Purity Made Simple One - Step Facial Cleanser
Philosophy Purity Made Simple is probably the most heavy-duty cleanser that I have. It has a very creamy texture, and the smell is pretty light. This cleanser is also supposed to work on both dry or wet face. I use it by wetting my face first, then take a pea sized to quarter sized amount on my Clarisonic brush and gently massage it into my skin for about a minute. You can see the cleanser emulsifying and breaking up your makeup, and you know it’s giving a thorough clean. Then I thoroughly rinse my face, and that’s it! If I’m wearing a lot of facial makeup, sometimes I take a bit of a my favorite Bioderma - makeup removing micellar water to wipe my makeup off first, even though this cleanser does break down makeup, I personally find that it can do a better job of cleaning and nourishing the skin when the outer layer of makeup has been mostly removed.
Two of my favorite products for a squeaky clean skin :)
Overall, I think this is a great product for anyone who is looking for a gentle cleanser that can remove makeup without tugging and pulling the facial skin . I love its soothing scent and the non-greasy texture. If you are looking for a great cleansing product, this might be something you want to check out. Also it's a fantastic cleanser to use to gently clean makeup brushes and sponges!

My Recommendation:This award winning cleanser has truly captured my heart. I simply love it and will continue to repurchase it. Highly recommended!

Price & Availability: It retails for about $13-$52 dollars, and comes in multiple sizes. You can order it online from their website here. I always purchase mine from reliable online stores like Rouge and Hash.

  8. This sounds similar to the Boots facewash I once had although I don't remember how good it was at cleansing makeup since I always remove makeup with a moisturizer or separate cleanser before washing my face. Wwelcome back Wajiha :) -Sadaf

  9. Welcome back Wajiha, it's good to see you blogging again. :) This sounds like a good cleanser as I usually just go and wash off my makeup with a cleanser only, when in a hurry. :) x
PS: I see you changed the layout of your blog, it looks pretty. :)

  12. Congratulations on your wedding and welcome back to bloggers sphere. I never tried anything from Philosophy to be very honest. From your review I can sense that it is good cleanser but more suitable for dry skin. While I have oily skin so I will avoid it then. Thank you for saving me some quids :)
