Finding a decent foundation can be quite a challenge, one you find may be great for the first hour or so after application and another may be awful from the moment your pour/squeeze it out of it’s container. For me I am yet to find the perfect foundation and on my hunt for this perfect one. I have tried some which are good and some which are bad. My latest buy and by latest I mean a few months ago was Pharmaclinix CX foundation. Once I visited a leading dermatologist here in Islamabad and saw the flyers and banners of this foundation in his clinic and I got really impressed by what it claims p.s its vast range of shades. So, I thought of trying this foundation and after a lot of online search I traced a whole seller/dealer who was selling this product.

My Views: 

I selected the shade 'Ivory' because it matches my skin tone in almost every foundation.

The foundation comes in a tall, clear glass bottle with a golden top.Around the glass bottle there is of course the Phrmaclinix  logo together with the product name as well as brief information about the product. The bottle has a pump action making it easy to apply whether straight onto your hand/fingers or onto a sponge/brush.

The first thing I noticed when I went to apply this foundation is its consistency. It isn’t thin and watery and it isn’t too thick either. It has a great, smooth consistency which I found very easy to apply and to smooth onto the skin without any trouble at all. I use a combination of a sponge and my fingers to get a natural, even looking finish and this foundation had no problems whatsoever. I never used primer underneath.

     This foundation is a light to medium coverage, you don't need much of it and it does a great job at covering minor imperfections. I usually apply one layer all over and then add a little more if needed on some areas and it gives a flawless coverage. It feels velvety smooth on the skin, evens out the skin tone and gives a semi-matte finish on the skin. I lightly put powder on top to set it.

The CX Pharmaclinix Liquid Foundation does last all day for me (I usually wear it for 7 hrs), and does not transfer. It looks and feel like it has been just applied, fresh and flawless all day.This has spf 40 in it, which is great that there is sun protection, as my skin is sensitive to the sun.  It is great that it suitable for all skin types.

Although it's pricey but still I'll repurchase as I am quite comfortable using this foundation because its a medicated product with SPF 40 & Niacin amide, at least I know it wont damage my skin or clog my pores.

My Recommendation: Give it a try, you will like it.
