The Clarisonic Mia : Unboxing & First Impressions*

 I finally got my hands on Clarisonic Mia and I'm beyond excited! Of course it's one of my favorite colors.. pink! I had been eyeing a Mia for the longest time and I cannot wait to see the results that it produces. The Clarisonic Mia is a compact skin cleansing system that just takes one minute a day and is said to produce the best skin of your life. 
 I ended up with the Mia, because the other models didn’t appeal to me. The only nice things about the higher-end models are that they have different speed settings. They also count down and beep when you need to switch sides of you face, but I figured since I could count myself this feature seemed a little useless for steeper price tag. The best part about the Mia is that it’s completely waterproof! so you can use it in the bath or in the shower, How awesome is that! :)

Directions from Clarisonic Instruction Booklet : 

Prior to the first use, charge the Clarisonic for 24 hours. If you wear makeup, remove eye makeup by hand. Wet your skin and the brush head with warm water. Liberally apply cleanser to your skin or to the brush head. Push the power button to turn your Clarisonic on and gently move the brush using a small circular motion, beginning on the forehead, then moving to the nose/chin area and the cheeks at the T-TIMER prompts. Pressing too hard will impede the gentle sonic vibrations of the mia.

2 Refreshing Gel Cleansers

Before you use the Clairsonic Mia for the first time, you have to make sure that you charge it for over 24 hours..

As soon as you turn it on, you have one minute to scrub your face clean.  The instruction guide tells you how many seconds on each area of your face you should focus on until you move to the next section. After one minute, the device shuts off automatically. Just rinse the brush clean with cool water and you’re done! 

First Impressions:

1. My skin had never felt so cleansed! I could seriously feel the product penetrating into the pores of my skin, which felt super refreshed.

2.  Definitely smoother skin after one use. It exfoliated the dry patch of skin around my nose, and my moisturizer seemed to effortlessly glide on after cleansing.

As this is only a first impression, it's too soon to say whether my pores, fine lines, wrinkles or black heads are reduced by using this skincare gadget. I'll do a proper review after a couple of weeks, but for now I’m definitely pleased with the product and will continue to use it.
