Shades by Gal Blue Palette Review,Swatches & Looks

I was looking for a palette with vibrant blue shades since long. My quest ended when I received a box of Shades by Gal cosmetics in which I got this palette. When I opened it for the first time, I was like, Woahhh! :D This is what I need! Such gorgeous pop of colors!Beautiful hues of blues and greens with awesome pigmentation and staying power. Thank you so much Shades by Gal for sending me this amazing palette :)

Product Description: 12 piece palette can take you from night to day with an array of vivid blues and greens that are reminiscent of the ocean. The colors glide on like silk. The pigment allows an effortless application.
Packaging: The palette comes in the standard glossy black packaging with white lettering on top. It's a refill palette. The eye shadows come in round little pans pretty much regular stuff.Lid has a large mirror inside. The palette closes nice and tight which makes it travel friendly.

My Views: Shades by gal blue palette contains twelve amazing shades from the family of blues and greens.Smooth eye shadows which glide on the eyes like feathers and blend so perfectly. This palette allows you to create an endless number of eye looks. The color payoff  is really impressive except one or two shades which are a bit chalky.
Swatches
Lets discuss the shades one by one:
Back Drop: Backdrop  is a deep purple blue with matte finish. I love how this shade applies on eyes.
Big Deal: An amazing olive green color that has awesome pigmentation, it has highly frosted finish. It does have quite a gritty texture, with quite large pieces of shimmer falling out throughout the day unless layered over primer.
Go Go:  Go go is a matte to satin finish fresh blue color.
Blue velvet : This shade is somewhat similar to backdrop but it's more intense.
Mint Julip: Beautiful shimmery aqua blue shade.
Lime Onade: A satin, yellow-toned green which is so unique to any other shadows I own. The texture is a little powdery and a bit hard to apply with an eyeshadow brush but I love the color.
Swatches

Virtual :  A semi frosted green, which has a nice, smooth texture. It is slightly metallic without looking too frosty which I like as it makes it a little more wearable. It blends well, and is just a really pretty shade.
Lime Juice: Fresh matte green shade.
Ego: Sky blue with metallic finish and little chunks of glitter.
Baby Blues:  A very light baby blue shade. It’s a bit chalky and is difficult to apply.
Wild waves : One word - Wow. I cannot get over how beautiful this shade is.. it's definitely my favourite from the palette and I don't own another shade like it.It's the most incredible, bold blue shade that I have ever come across. The pigmentation is so intense. The swatch is without a primer, so imagine how amazingly vivid Wild waves is when applied over a primer?!
Rip Tides : Dark matte black blue color, great to create a blue smokey eye.

This Palette has got very vibrant shades that can be showstoppers for any outfit. All of the colors have great pigmentation. There are a couple of shades that are more on the dry side (virtual, ,lime juice, rip tides), but for the most part, the shades have a buttery, smooth formula. The matte shades are the best part of this palette. The are opaque and strong, and apply smoothly and evenly on the skin. These eyeshades lasts for about five to six hours without primer. Lasts the whole day with an eyeshadow primer underneath them.

Overall it's a stunning palette, that contains a gorgeous collection of shades and again is so unique to any other eyeshadow palette I own.I love how this palette has bold and daring hues of greens and blues. As a whole, the shadows are all beautifully pigmented except a few shades, but that always happens with eyeshadow palettes. My favourite shades are Back drop,Big deal, Go go and Wild waves - they're just beautiful.

Price & Availability: Price of Shades by Gal Blue Palette is $70.00 and it’s available here.
