Essence Stay All Day 16h Long-lasting Makeup - Review & Photos

Essence is a budget friendly makeup brand with great quality products. I know it’s not new for you, In fact, many of you have already tried something from this brand. I have also tried some of their products like nail enamels, lashes and lipsticks and I must say I am not disappointed at all. Today I have selected their much raved Stay All Day 16h Long-lasting Makeup for review. Let’s see if it’s a hit or a miss..
Product Description: This long-lasting make-up ensures a smooth and silky complexion all day long. The delicate texture allows a simple and even application. The foundation comes with a pump dispenser for perfect dosage so you can create an indescribably beautiful look.

Packaging: The packaging is great. It comes in a lightweight 30ml plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. Cap fixes well which makes it a travel friendly product.
My Views:Essence Stay All Day 16-Hour foundation is available in 5 shades which are Soft Porcelain, Soft Beige, Soft Creme, Soft Nude and Soft Sand. The shade that I got, Soft Porcelain, looks a bit fair for my NC 25 skin tone, Therefore I always set it with a colored setting powder instead of a translucent one.

Essence Stay All Day Foundation is a medium-full coverage foundation with a build able formula. It has semi matte finish. This foundation is very creamy and pigmented, almost like a mousse. When I apply it on the back of my hand, it doesn't run but the consistency is not really that thick. It has a silky texture that's why it's always a joy to apply and to blend. The foundation applies smoothly, I love to apply it with my Sigma F80 brush and Beauty Blender Sponge. It creates a flawless base for blush or bronzer. This foundation claims to give you a flawless, silky complexion and I ABSOLUTELY agree.
The coverage is medium to full. It can definitely conceal imperfections on the face. With just one layer, it can already cover dark circles around the eyes, redness of the skin and lighter pimple scars. For darker and bigger spots, you might need two layers to fully conceal them.
Although I don't find this foundation to be at all cakey, it can look very unnatural if too much is applied, so make sure you apply it in less quantity. This foundation claims to be shine-proof, but I experienced shine in a short amount of time and my skin right now is actually on the drier to normal side. Also, the wear-time doesn't come close to it's claims. It claims to last for 16 hours, but I'd say 6 at best - which is pretty average. Shade range is also very limited as it only comes in 5 shades. I hope they introduce more shades.

My Recommendation:Overall, I can say that the Essence Stay All Day16-Hour Long Lasting Makeup is a nice product. The quality is great yet the price is really affordable for only 690 Rs. I absolutely recommend this to you guys, especially to people with combination - oily skin.

Price & Availability: Essence Stay All Day 16h Long-lasting Makeup retails for PKR 690 and is available at and Essence retailers across Pakistan.

Rating: 3.5 / 5
