My Travel Makeup Essentials - Drugstore Edition

Hello, how are you all?  I am back after an exhausting yet fun filled trip of Northern Areas and I can't wait to share some posts with you lovely ladies. To start with,  my today's post comprises of a list of drug store travel makeup essentials that were inseparable from me during this trip. I wanted to share this post earlier but couldn’t do that due to time constraints. Anyways, here are few affordable drugstore items that will keep you fresh and fabulous during your journey.I hope you will enjoy this post!
1. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation:  This creamy yet lightweight foundation is perfect for everyday wear. It helps hides nearly all the dark spots and blemishes. It is easy to apply, blend well into the skin, gives a very pretty dewy finish and really hydrates my dry skin. I can’t say enough good things about this foundation, it’s a drugstore gem! Full review here...

2. Elf Waterproof Lengthening and Volumizing Mascara:  I’ve been using this mascara for quite some time now and I like it. It's easy to apply, the formula is not too thick, and it does a great job in lengthening my lashes. It was able to hold the curl all day. It’s waterproof. No flaking. No smudging. Above all, it’s very affordable, Retails for $3 only!

3. DMGM Lipstick in Coral: This has been one of my favorite lippies for a long time now so it was obvious that this baby was going with me on this trip. I love this pretty coral shade as it compliments my skin tone a lot, also the way it glides on my lips and then appears to give a nice satiny look. Staying power is also great, which makes it travel perfect.

4.Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer :  My favorite favorite favorite concealer till date! The product covers up dark spots, blemishes and even breakouts very well, compliments my skin tone and doesn’t look cakey at all. I love the packaging as well, so sturdy and travel friendly! Full review here..

5.Essence Extra Long Lasting Liner Pen: Eye makeup is incomplete without a good black liner. I normally use gel eyeliners but I always prefer markers while I’m travelling as they are a lot more handy and easy to apply. I tried Essence marker lately and I really like it, the color is jet black, consistency is thin but quite pigmented. It looks very natural and lasts me more than 4 hours.

6. Wet and Wild to reflect Shimmer Palette ' Boozy Brunch': Wet n wild boozy brunch is a gorgeous drugstore highlight! It’s buttery to the touch, and it is such a beautiful, intense highlight that definitely stands up to more expensive highlighters. It has a gold base, but with bronze and pink patterns through it. It is just amazing. Simple and sturdy packaging plus, the size is great since it’ll last you a long time. See review here..

7. Beauty Blender: Beauty Blender is a product that I can’t live without! It's a fantastic alternative to using a foundation brush or your fingers. I LOVE how it applies my foundation and makes my skin so natural and flawless. It’s not very travel friendly as it’s a fragile product, but since I love it so much, I properly pack it up, put it in a box so it doesn't get squished and take it along on my trips.

8. Eco Tools Eye Enhancing Duo Set: This Eye Enhancing Duo Set by Eco tools is my best travel companion. The set contains two dual ended brushes which can be used to create all kinds of eye makeup looks. One is blend and smudge brush and other is define and shade brush. The brushes are super soft, handles are of appropriate length and I love how you can create any style eye make up using just this set, Perfect for traveling or make up on the go!

9. Gorgeous Cosmetics Blush: I really like cream blushes because they are easy to apply and makes your cheeks very healthy and luminous. This blush ‘Peaches & Cream’ by Gorgeous Cosmetics is my favorite cream blush. It’s a perfect summer blush, formula is buttery soft,  It beautifully melts on your cheeks and gives a very pretty color to them. Last but not the least; you don’t need any brush to apply this, so yeah this is a travel makeup bag must-have!

10. Body Collection Eyebrow Pencil : Shaping and grooming the eyebrows is a vital part of your makeup if you want to achieve a complete look so an eyebrow pencil is a must have makeup product in my travel bag. Body Collection Eyebrow Pencil is a sharp able pencil for ‘Dark Hair’ and it comes with spoolie brush on the other end. The shade is quite warm brown, which suits my eyebrows very much. I found it easy to fill in my eyebrows with this pencil when i'm in hurry or while travelling.

11. Salon Fantasy Wonderland Eye Shadow Kit: I absolutely adore the cute and sturdy tin packaging of Salon Fantasy Wonderland Eye Shadow Kit, it's a really good looking palette with 8 gorgeous colours, the formula and pigmentation of these eye shadows is mind blowing. A versatile palette which is great for both daytime and night-time look.Review here..

Apart from that, I'm a big fan of the cute, colorful makeup pouches. I got this Clinique pouch as a gift from a friend in US. I love its floral design and cylindrical shape, it’s a great bag for travelling with a capacity to hold more than ten makeup items and it’s pretty easy to clean as well.
