Sigma Lipgloss 'Tranquil' - Review & Photos

Today I have a lip gloss review for you guys from my favorite makeup brand ‘Sigma Beauty’

Packaging: Sigma lip gloss comes in a clear plastic tube with black matte lid. The design is very minimal. The name of the shade is printed on each tube with a holographic effect which looks really cool. The glosses have a thin brush for their applicator which I really love as it’s much easier to get a more precise, even application of gloss.

My Views: Tranquil is a beautiful and wearable berry shade gloss. It’s sheer and almost clear when applied to the lips. So it’s more towards the Nude side. which isn’t too dark which I love as it’s a lot more wearable than a darker shade and works beautifully at darkening and transforming a ‘concealer lips’ lipstick. It’s incredibly wearable; The gloss has a delicious subtle vanilla scent which fades once the gloss has been applied.

Coming on to the formula, Sigma Lip gloss ‘Tranquil’ has semi-opaque finish which provides enough color to be worn alone or for adding color to a lipstick when layered over the top. It has a cream finish, without any glitter or shimmer. This lip gloss is really thick. You can actually feel how thick this is when you opened the tube. The consistency is great, it’s not at all sticky but they have enough stick which makes it long lasting. It’s lightweight and easy to wear and once it begins to fade, it fades evenly too.

The finish is really smooth, flawless, and of course glossy. You can perfectly rock the smoky / dramatic eye makeup look with this lip gloss like it did or you can go for a natural look as well. While I like everything about this Lipgloss, I’m afraid this doesn’t last long. It stays for about 2 hours or so but I since  love the shade and formula, I don’t mind re-applying it once it starts fading.

My Recommendation: Sigma glosses are brilliant in terms of formula and application. Do give them a shot if you’re a lip-gloss lover or you love trying new products. I guarantee that they won’t disappoint you.
